Sonya Smith

1.Tell me about yourself, your family? My name is Sonya Smith, I've been with my husband for 15 years and we have 3 children together, two boys ages 8 and 6, and a 20 month old little girl. We live a pretty simple life.

2. What do you do for fun? For fun, we like to hang out at the waterpark where my husband works and go to the library. I love to read, and always seem to have a pile of books to wade through.

3. Tell me about your business(s) [what you sell/do/etc]? I am an Independent Representative for Iggly Biggly. Iggly Biggly's product is FlipFlops!! I don't think I've ever been more excited about a company in my life, lol. The very low start up and huge earning potential, plus new flip flops really appealed to me. 4. How long have you been a Mom Entrepenuer? I've been working from home for about 10 years now, doing a variety of different things, and I really love the freedom it gives me to live my life.

5. What made you get into the business? My deep and abiding love of shoes, lol. Plus, I live just a few miles from the beach, so it's a product I both need, and is extremely marketable for me.

6. What motivates you? My children. I want to be there for them.

7. Can you recommend any good resources/websites/networks? I have a huge list of resources that are beneficial to Mom Entrepreneurs. Some of my favorite sites are ning sites like this one. Others are Betternetworker.com, Cafemom.com, and Ryze.
